Caprese salad is made with fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fragrant basil leaves. The combination of flavors and textures is simply divine!

Ingredients

Go for high quality if you can - the simplicity means that every single one of these ingredients shines!

Slice

Slice your ripe and fresh tomatoes into even rounds. Add them to your serving platter, slightly over-lapping.

Tear

Tear your mozzarella into rough chunks, and add to the sliced tomatoes.

Add

Add the fresh basil leaves, drizzle with high quality olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 

Drizzle

Drizzle with high quality balsamic vinegar, right at the end (totally optional also).

Serve

Serve at room temperature so all the flavors have time to mellow!
