Maple Latte with Real Maple Syrup (Hot or Iced)

For the Maple Latte
- 2 shots espresso or 3 oz strong, freshly brewed coffee
- 1 C milk whatever your preference is, it can definitely be plant-based.
- 2-4 tablespoon maple syrup the amount depends on your preferred sweetness level!
For the Cinnamon Whipped Cream
- 1 C heavy cream
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
For the Maple Latte
Brew 2 shots of espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine, brew a strong pot of coffee and use three oz of coffee instead.
Heat 1 cup of milk. Use a milk steamer if you have one. If not, heat the milk in a saucepan over medium-high heat until steaming and frothy.
Add the maple syrup and the espresso to a coffee mug, and stir.
Add the steamed milk, and stir.
Top with cinnamon whipped cream (see below) if desired. Enjoy!
For the Cinnamon Whipped Cream
In a bowl, combine heavy cream, maple syrup, powdered sugar, and ground cinnamon.
Using a stand mixer or beaters, whip until stiff peaks form.
Dollop onto your maple latte. Enjoy!
