The last word cocktail, garnished with a cherry.

The Last Word

The Last Word cocktail is rumored to have gotten it's name because it was so well-balanced, it was the "last word" on cocktails. Whether or not that's true, it's certainly sweet, bitter, tart, and refreshing enough to have stuck around for over 100 years. It's truly a classic for a reason. It's easy drinking and crowd-pleasing, making it the perfect drink for your next get-together!

Notes

Feel free to play with the ratios of this drink. If you don't like the 1:1:1:1 option, add more or less of whatever suits you! I personally cut the lime at LEAST in half - because I'm super sensitive to tart flavors. It makes it perfect for me!
