A photo of a sweet pea martini.

Sweet Pea Martini

This sweet martini is a total showstopper, and the best part is it's easy to make. Just muddle some peas, mint and lemon together, add your simple syrup and gin (or vodka), and you've got my favourite warm weather drink.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • ¼ C fresh sweet peas or frozen if you can't find fresh
  • 4-6 mint leaves
  • ¼ oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz gin or vodka
  • fresh peas or mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the peas, mint, lemon juice and simple syrup in a Boston shaker. Muddle thouroughly until the peas have burst and the mint is fragrant. Add your gin or vodka, half fill the shaker with ice, and then shake for 45 seconds. Double strain into a coup or a Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with fresh peas or mint leaves.

Notes

Not feeling the peas? Swap them out for cucumber for a super refreshing option.
