Pasta with Creamy Pesto Sauce

Pasta with creamy pesto sauce is the perfect weeknight meal after a long day at work. It's quick and easy, flavorful, and will be a total crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz dried pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup pesto store-bought or homemade
  • cup heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
  • Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add the pesto, stir, and allow it to warm up.
  • Add the heavy cream. Stir, and warm through. Add the salt and pepper.
  • Add the pasta, stir to combine. Add the parmesan cheese and stir.
  • Serve, and garnish with more parmesan if desired.
