- 8 oz dried pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup pesto store-bought or homemade
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add the pesto, stir, and allow it to warm up.
Add the heavy cream. Stir, and warm through. Add the salt and pepper.
Add the pasta, stir to combine. Add the parmesan cheese and stir.
Serve, and garnish with more parmesan if desired.
