Homemade Vanilla Syrup
Sweet, warm, and full of comforting vanilla flavor, you won't believe how easy it is to make this syrup from the comfort of home. Add it to you coffee, iced coffees and cocktails for a beautiful flavor.

- 1 C water
- 1 C sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 vanilla bean seeds removed
Bring water and sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Once the sugar is dissolved, add the vanilla extract and vanilla bean.
Turn off the heat, and allow to steep for 20 minutes.
Pour into a glass jar, and keep in the fridge.
If you want, you can strain out the vanilla beans, but I like look of them in the homemade syrup.
This should keep in the fridge for at least two weeks, maybe even longer.
