The Best Moist Chocolate Cake (with Coffee)

This truly is the best moist chocolate cake around. It's a classic, and the coffee just intensifies the chocolate flavor.


For the cake. Note, if you want to switch up and add a different flavor, add orange extract like this pic shows!


Your dry ingredients together until thoroughly combined. 


The wet ingredients in a larger, separate bowl. 


At 350F in two 8" cake pans for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack. 

Make the Icing

By using a mixer to combine these ingredients (again, orange extract is optional). 

Ice & Serve

Layer the cakes with icing in the middle. Pro tip: if you freeze your cakes for 15 mins. before icing them, it's much easier!
