Steak in a cast-iron skillet is the meal that keeps on giving. It's quick, easy, satisfying and impressive.
Keeping it simple allows the flavor of the steak to really shine.
Season with salt and pepper, and allow the steak to come to room temp.
You want your pan super hot, then add the butter.

Get the steak in the pan, and let it sear on one side for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic & thyme.
