How to make the pasta from Hulu's 'The Bear'

Ingredients

So simple, and you probably have everything you need already. 

Make your oil

Add oil, garlic, pepper flakes and basil, over medium low. Cook until basil wilts, then remove from heat.

Melt butter

In a Dutch oven, over medium heat. 

Sear Onion

Add onion cut side down in the butter, cook for 4-5 minutes, until just browning.  Add your tomatoes and simmer for 20. 

Blend Basil Oil

Meanwhile, blend  your basil oil in a food processor.  Start cooking your spaghetti now too!

Add to Tomatoes

Add the oil and spaghetti to the tomatoes. Remove the onion. 

Enjoy!
