The Gourmet Bon Vivant
Hot honey is a fantastic condiment. The spicy and sweet combination makes it versatile to put on almost anything.
You can absolutely buy it - but it's super easy to make at home. Plus, that way you can control your own spice levels. It literally takes 10 minutes, 2-3 ingredients, and you're good to go.
So simple you probably have the honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar in your pantry already!
Heat the honey and the red pepper flakes together over LOW heat. This needs to be done slowly.
Once you start to see tiny bubbles, it's time to take it off the heat and add the vinegar. This should take about 5 minutes.
Pour the honey into a glass jar (you can strain the pepper flakes if you want) and you're done!
On almost anything you can think of: pizza, fish, salad dressings, bread, the list is endless!
