BAKED BRIE MAC AND CHEESE

The Gourmet Bon Vivant

This creamy brie mac and cheese is the ultimate in cozy, decadent, luxury comfort food. The brie creates a silky smooth texture that just can't be beat.

Mac and cheese is a must in the fall, and this creamy brie mac and cheese is perfect. Seriously, is there anything better on a cold, windy day than curling up with a steaming bowl of this?

Ingredients

We love a mix of old cheddar, gruyere, and brie for this one. The flavor is on point.

Scribbled Arrow

Make the Roux

Roux is the based of our sauce - whisking together butter and flour.

Whisk

Whisk the flour and butter over medium heat until it starts bubbling, about 2 minutes.

Add the Milk

Whisk consistently the whole time. Cook until it begins to thicken.

Combine

Pour the sauce over your favorite cooked macaroni shape. Pour that into a prepared 9x13" pan.

Make the panko crust and spread over the top of the mac and cheese.  Bake at 375 F for 30-40 minutes.

Serve

Save this recipe for Thanksgiving! It would make the perfect side dish!
