The Gourmet Bon Vivant
Red wine braised beef is the perfect meal to impress your friends and family. Rich in flavor and texture, the beef just falls apart after braising and simmering in the red wine all afternoon.
There are a few ingredients in this one to help us develop complex flavor in this dish.
Start by searing your chuck roast on all sides until deep brown.
Remove the roast, and start to soften the vegetables.
Deglaze with wine and broth, add the herbs, and nestle the roast back in the pot. Cover, and cook for 3.5 hours.
Creamy polenta with parmesan.
